Hygenists
A visit to the dental hygienist takes 15 - 20 minutes, and helps protect your teeth and gums from disease. A hygienist may provide treatments such as scale and polish, fissure sealants or insertion of a 'periochip' at the request of your dentist. They are also able to provide advice regarding care of your teeth and gums, and give information on dental products.

We recommend that you visit both your dentist and dental hygienist every six months!
